What does the pregnancy success rate mean?

At our clinic, the pregnancy rate we publish is confirmed through the first ultrasound, where we verify the presence of a gestational sac.

Our commitment is to offer clear and transparent information so that our patients can accurately know their chances of pregnancy. We believe that having these data in a rigorous way brings peace of mind and confidence in our medical team.

For this reason, we go one step further: we do not limit ourselves to considering a positive biochemical test, but our pregnancy success rate is based on ultrasound-confirmed pregnancies.

Our cumulative clinical pregnancy rate

The cumulative clinical pregnancy rate is one of the most accurate indicators to measure success in pregnancy after assisted reproduction treatment. This value reflects the success of the treatment as a whole, since it includes both fresh embryo transfers and frozen embryo transfers carried out within the same cycle.

By taking into account all possible transfers, the cumulative clinical pregnancy rate offers a more realistic and complete view of the chances of achieving a pregnancy.

At our clinic, we only count pregnancies confirmed by ultrasound, thus ensuring transparent results and 100% reliable data.

In IVF treatments with own eggs, we freeze embryos in 58.95% of cases. This high percentage increases the possibility of pregnancy, as it allows patients to have new attempts with their frozen embryos without needing to start a new treatment.

PGT in Cases of Repeated Miscarriage and Advanced Age

All the IVF cases with Preimplantation Genetic Testing (PGT) that we perform in our clinic are carried out by embryo biopsy with laser at the blastocyst stage (day +5 or +6).
This procedure is especially useful in cases of repeated miscarriage.
The embryos are always frozen, and PGT transfers are performed with cryopreserved embryos, improving the chances in patients with recurrent miscarriage.

Real Results of In Vitro Fertilisation with Donated Eggs

Intrauterine Insemination (IUI), whether using the partner’s sperm (IAC) or donor sperm (IAD), is considered one of the simplest procedures in assisted reproduction.
Its main benefit lies in being a minimally invasive, cost-effective and very convenient method for the patient.

For this reason, it is usually the first option suggested for couples or young women with a good egg reserve, since the success of intrauterine insemination is largely dependent on age and individual health conditions.

However, the success rate of intrauterine insemination are more limited compared with other techniques, such as in-vitro fertilisation.
Thus, although intrauterine insemination can be a very suitable option in certain cases, it does not always turn out to be the definitive solution.
