URE collaborates with UNICEF: let’s continue saving lives
At the Reproduction Unit of Centro Gutenberg, we are deeply committed to children and childhood. After all, our daily mission is to help people build families. That’s why we’ve launched a campaign to support UNICEF in their effort to continue saving lives. This campaign will run until January 31, 2015.
The Opportunity to End Child Mortality Has Never Been Closer
Over the past two decades, the number of children dying each day from preventable causes has been cut in half. That means 100 million children under the age of five have survived diseases like pneumonia, polio, and diarrhea thanks to global efforts.
To give you an idea of the impact your donation can make:
- €10 can vaccinate 10 children against deadly diseases.
- €30 can vaccinate 71 children against measles.
- €60 can protect 21 children from malaria with mosquito nets while they sleep.
- €100 can provide 6 children with safe drinking water for an entire month.
